Janelle's 15th B-day (5.28.10)

I met Janelle about a couple of years ago and recently covered her Quinceañera last month.  The party's theme was "New Orleans", which guests ended up wearing masks, hovering around the candy concoctions table, and danced through the night.  The ambience was spectacular and even the "Damas" and "Chambelanes" were so down to earth.  Just wanted to please Janelle in any way possible and it melted my heart.  Here's a sneak preview of the event with more to come in a few days. Mother Son Dance 5/8/10

1st Annual Mother Son Dance took place on May 8th 2010 and have to admit 
that it exceeded my expectations. Never seen "sons" acting so loving 
towards their "Moms" and even  sweet sibling camaraderie. It was great 
to finally meetthe other half of families from  the usual 
"Daddy  Daughter Dance". Lookig forward for many more  dances to 
come and may memories be  treasured. --- p.s. Picture packages 
will be ready at the  RecreationalOffice on Wednesday @ 5pm.
